Chanel at the Grand Palais yet again

The show was held in the Grand Palais de Paris which had been transformed into a French brasserie with red booths, bar stools and waiters for an added effect. Popular models Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner both took part in the show in tweed and a 60s ensemble. As the models arrived on the runway, they were taken to a booth with fruit juice, bowls of olives, baskets of croissants and lemon tea. Lagerfeld's designs included silk shirts, knee length skirts and blazers.

The images below are just some of the photos taken at the Chanel show at Paris Fashion week for the A/W 2015 collection.

Chanel at the Supermarket

'At Paris Fashion Week 2014 (A/W), Chanel turned the Grand Palais into the world's glitziest supermarket complete with 500 Chanel-branded products in packaging designed specially for the show.'
As shown in the link below:

Everything that was part of the supermarket was branded Chanel, from wine to cheese, crisps to cereal.

In terms of the clothes themselves, there were candy-coloured tweed coats, metallic jeans, glittery tops, leather tracksuit bottoms and quilted cropped jackets.

Karl Lagerfeld (creative director of Chanel) certainly did it again and pleased the crowd. What an amazing atmosphere and experience it would have been to be sat there watching the show.

Zoolander 2 takes over Valentino

At Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, Zoolander 2 took over the Valentino show. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson who play Derek Zoolander and Hansel in the original 2001 Zoolander film, took their turn on the catwalk for Valentino. Ben appeared in an electric blue suit-and-tie with a navy trenchcoat and Owen in a light blue pyjama set with white trainers and a blue trenchcoat.
The audience did not see that coming and were taken by surprise when the two Hollywood Stars were seen strutting their stuff right in front of their eyes. What a fabulous and unexpected show.

Zuhair Murad Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015

Zuhair Murad is a fashion designer who I have recently come across. I was looking on WGSN at different designers and catwalks for Spring/Summer 2015 which is when I saw Zuhair Murad's collection which I absolutely loved. I loved the different styles and colours of each dress that came onto the Catwalk. He includes embroidery and a lot of sequins to make his collection stand out.
