Macy's at Christmas Time

During the Festive period, all stores try to compete with each other to look the best, from window displays, to the interior design and store layout. Macy's make their store look so christmassy, its almost magical. Macy's is an American department store and this was my experience at Macy's in New York. Upon entering the department store, the first thing I saw were the christmas decorations hanging from the ceiling. Giant christmas baubles, fairy lights and lights in the shape of giant snowballs and snowflakes.

Each bauble had little characters on them and three words which were bold and in red. These were Imagine, Believe and Dream. The atmosphere in Macy's was amazing and bright. On the ground floor, there were make up and skincare stands, on the next floor there were different shoe brands and some menswear ranges. As it was nearly christmas and it was a Saturday, Macy's was full of customers shopping and due to a limited amount of time, I unfortunately didn't get to visit the whole of the store but what I did see was outstanding. A lot of effort had been put into these decorations.
